1.85mm V Type RF Connector Features
High frequency
We have a lineup of products that can be used in the DC to 67 GHz high-frequency bandwidth. By changing the insulator from Teflon to air and increasing the outer diameter to 1.85 mm, these connectors can handle even higher frequencies than SMA connectors.
Compatibility
1.85mm V connectors are compatible with 2.4mm connectors; they are not compatible and cannot be mated with SMA connectors, 3.5mm connectors, or 2.92mm K connectors.
Tiny
The compact connector enables high-density mounting in a small space, not only for wiring in equipment, but also for connection between subassemblies that make up the equipment and between equipment.

1.85mm V Type RF Connector FAQ
QWhat is the difference to SMA connectors?
QWhat is the difference to SMA connectors?
The 1.85mm V connector has a 1.85mm outline by changing the insulator from Teflon to air. This allows for an even higher waveguide mode cutoff frequency, achieving an operating frequency of DC to 67 GHz.
SMA connector, 3.5mm connector, and 2.92mm K connector are similar in shape but cannot be mated. 2.4mm connector can be mated.

QAre there connectors with even higher frequency and smaller size?
QAre there connectors with even higher frequency and smaller size?
In our lineup, there are no products with even higher frequencies. There are 1.0 mm connectors on the market that support up to 110 GHz, so please consult with us.
A smaller connector in a lower frequency range is the SMP connector, which is available up to 40 GHz.
