① Waterproofing of connector mating part

Mating waterproof specifications on the plug side. By mating with the jack, the connecting part becomes waterproof.

② Tube waterproofing at cable attachment

By using the included heat-shrinkable tube, the cable attachment side becomes waterproof.

③ O-ring waterproofing of the cable mounting part

The O-ring inside the connector makes the cable attachment part waterproof.

④ O-ring waterproofing for panel mounting

Used in bulkhead type connectors. The O-ring used when mounting to a panel or housing makes the connector-panel waterproof.

About Waterproof Grade

"IP code" is used as a notation to express waterproof performance.
IP:International Protection
It is widely used in electronic devices and electrical products around us.
The waterproof grade is expressed in the form of "IPX□".
It is divided into a total of 9 grades, and the grade of waterproofing is determined according to the following conditions.
Many of our products are "IPX7".

IPX0

Not protected against water ingress.

IPX1

No harmful effects from vertically falling water droplets.

IPX2

No harmful effects from water droplets within 15° left or right of vertical.

IPX3

No harmful effects from water droplets within 60° left or right of vertical.

IPX4

No harmful effects of water splashing from any direction.

IPX5

Direct jets of water from any direction have no detrimental effect.

IPX6

No harmful effects from strong direct jets of water from any direction.

IPX7

Water does not enter even if submerged in water at specified pressure and time.

IPX8

Water does not penetrate even if submerged continuously.
